This diploma thesis deals with suggestions for improving the services of Hotel U Labutě in Žďár nad Sázavou. It is a small hotel with a number of competitive hotels. An important part of the work is an analysis of the current condition of the hotel and proposals for solving specific shortcomings found during the analysis. The purpose of the proposals is mainly to improve the quality of the services provided and increase the attendance of the hotel restaurant.

Mountain hotel

The theme of this work is the building design, brand new mountain hotel with wellness services in Spindleruv Mlyn. The plot is located in a quiet part of town, near a wooded area and form a river Labe.V designed hotel is located three floors above ground level of the building is solved attic space. Roofed by a wooden roof false hip roof. Ground unsophisticated form a geometric shape, which layout is divided into sections. On the ground floor wellness facilities, a portion of the input dopňkovými with hotel services, floor is done mainly for accommodation, as well as the attic. Hotel is equipped with a slightly sloping plot in the construction of houses and other hotels. All living spaces are naturally ventilated and illuminated. The supporting structure consists Liapor system. The appearance of the hotel is in line with the surroundings.

Development of Competitiveness of Company

The content of this master’s thesis deals with competitiveness of the accommodation establishment „Jacob Brno“ through its brand. The current situation of the company is dismantled according to theoretical knowledge. Based on the value chain theory, the value creation process for the customer is further dismantled and compared to competing company. According to the variety of analyses, it is proposed to extend the supply of the accommodation establishment to ancillary services. This includes services such as a conference facility or an improved way to accommodate guests.

The bachelor thesis focuses on the impact of ski centres in the South Moravia on regional development. The literature overwiev engages in the topic of statistical processing of surveys and in general info about municipalities and centres that is important thesis-wise. The empirical part assesses results from the surveys with help of statistical processing. The goal of the survey was to discover basic info about impact of the ski centres to regional development. On the basis of discovered results were created reccomendations and proposals to improve quality and quantity of provided services thanks to which the the attendance should increase and the result should be the increase of impact on development in the particular region.

Draft offer animation activities of the selected acommodation

An analysis of organizationally-personal, materially-technical and economic conditions has to be made in order to be able to create the offer of animation activities. The thesis also includes a questionnaire whose purpose is to ascertain the degree of interest in animation activities in a selected type of accommodation as well as the creation of the offer of such activities. Wellness Hotel Chateau Valeč situated in Vysočina region was selected for the purposes of the analysis. The data gathered by the questionnaire were then evaluated based on the diversity of the animation activities and their price range. The overall goal of the thesis is to propose a set of concrete animation activities which could be offered by the hotel as a kind of complementary services in order to provide a better satisfaction of hotel guests' needs.

The Analysis of transport companies in international personal rail transportation on relation Kosice - Prague

The bachelor thesis deals with personal rail transport between the capital of Czech Republic - Prague and the Eastern metropolis of Slovakia - Kosice. It is focused only on this type of transport, which belongs to the most used on given route. More specifically, it is focused on transport companies, who are doing business on this route and on services which they offer to their customers. Examining and comparing these services will provide us with a better sight of transport level and at the same time it will show the competitive fight between these companies. The conclusion of the practical part, will include the evaluation of given services and the status of this type of transport.

The aim of this work is to analyse an additional and extra services of libraries and their importance for attendance and financial benefits. Theoretical part describes marketing and its benefits for libraries, definition of a public library and services, brief analysis of financing libraries and analysis of some additional and extra services offered by Czech and foreign libraries. Practical part is devoted to analysis of history and the current situation in Tabor City Library and services it offers. There is also a research included in this section questioning whether readers know and use an additional and extra library services. This work presents analysis whether or not medium public library in the area of services meets reader's needs and also summary of additional and extra library services offered by Czech and foreign libraries.
